Non-Christians are most welcome to participate in the Society’s annual conference, including as presenters.
Membership in the Society is not required to participate in its events.
In short: all are welcome!
Call for Abstracts:
The Canadian Society of Christian Philosophers invites abstracts for its 2026 meeting, which will be held at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Canadian Philosophical Association.
The Society meeting will be on June 6, 2026, and the keynote speaker will be J.L. Schellenberg, Professor of Philosophy at Mount Saint Vincent University.
Abstracts of up to 500 words on any topic of interest to Christian philosophers are welcome.
Those presenting at the conference do not need to be Society members or Christians themselves.
Submit abstracts here by 11:59pm on April 1, 2026.
The conference will be an in-person event; attendance is required for participation.
Participants may also be interested in attending the Canadian Philosophical Association meeting, which will be held from June 6-9 in the same location. More information may be found here.
You may submit the same paper/abstract to the Canadian Philosophical Association and to the Canadian Society of Christian Philosophers. But if it is accepted for both, we will ask that you withdraw from one or the other.
Presentations should be suitable for 30-minute presentations.
We expect to make decisions known by April 15, 2026.
For inquiries, please contact Daniel Rubio (daniel.rubio@torontomu.ca) or Klaas Kraay (kraay@torontomu.ca).
